Quite some time ago, Isaac outgrew his baby tub. Not only was he getting too big for it, but he was starting to sit on his own better and I felt bad for him having to lay down in a baby tub for a bath. Still, I was really nervous about putting him in the big tub. It just seemed so huge and he still tips over now and then, and I was worried about him slipping and hurting himself in the tub. I worry about everything.
When I went in search of some solution to this problem, I found the Ducky Tub at Target. I am pretty sure it cost $9.99. It is the best thing ever. You simply inflate it, so it is soft on all sides and the bottom, and fill it with water in the tub. It has a suction cup on the bottom to help with slipping and storage, and when you squeeze the beak, it quacks!
Isaac has had so much fun with it for the past couple of months. It has been the perfect transition item. He loves to splash and play with toys in it. This is what I will be giving everyone at baby showers from now on! I noticed that he is running out of leg room though and I think we really only have about a month or so left with the ducky tub. So sad:(. I realized that I hadn't yet immortalized tub time, so I took care of that today. Here are the pic's for your enjoyment. As a warning, these may contain partial baby nudity.

The duck bath is SO cute! I will for sure have to get one of those. Ryan would probably like an adult size one too. :) Glad you made it through your CA trip! Isaac is such a cute little boy. I am really craving donuts now, thanks a lot! :) That's the last thing I need, you should have talked about yummy vegetables. :) I had almost forgotten about the velociraptor. I can't believe I did that in front of everyone there.
